Weekly services are held at 11:00 a.m. on Sunday mornings. Many within our congregation have commented that they like the fact that our service is neither too formal, nor too informal, but a nice balance between the two.

Sacraments
When the Sacrament of Holy Communion is celebrated (about six times a year), everyone present is invited to share in the meal. Believing that children learn through participation, they are included in this invitation as well. This is to the discretion of the parents.
In our tradition, the Sacrament of Baptism is typically conferred upon infants as an outward sign of God’s love and grace for everyone, whether they are consciously aware of that grace or not. Some parents, however, choose not to have their children baptized, but allow the child to make that decision for herself as she matures.
Music
Music is an integral part of our church life here at First Reformed UCC and we have been blessed with many wonderful musicians.
Choral anthems and responses are offered each week by members of The Adult Choir. When you combine their devotion and enthusiasm with the direction of Arleen Widerman and the instrumental talent of Margaret Ann Fambrough, the result is a music program which brings continued joy and meaning to our worship services. Rehearsals are held every Sunday evening from 6:30-7:30 p.m.
The Chime Choir is an inter-generational group that performs every other month. Led by Beverly Pugh, rehearsals are held the first and third Sundays from 5:45 - 6:30 p.m.
